2025 Kennel and Training Waiver
Kennel hours are 8AM — 5PM, Tuesday — Sunday. Mondays are by appointment only and staff is on site. Please use our reservation software to request any bookings, or call/email us for unique situations or bookings within 24 hours notice.
Since the kennel is not staffed 24 hours a day, please try your best to drop off/pick up at the time selected on your booking. This helps us with scheduling a staff member to be in the office when you arrive, as well as helps ensure we don't have to many pups co-mingling or being stressed out!
Boarding Policies:
All dogs Boarded at our facility must be at least 16 weeks of age and fully vaccinated.
All fees due for boarding or training must be paid prior to or at check out. Please remember that any additional services requested will be added to your invoice and fees are due prior to check out.
Check Ins & Check Outs:
Check Ins or Out should occur during business hours. Before/after hours drop offs can be arranged on a case by case basis.
Notification of your check in and out times are required, but if extenuating circumstances arise, please text/call 719-992-8294.
We are not open to the public on Christmas Day or Thanksgiving but pick up on these days may be arranged with advance notice and a service fee may apply. All fees must be paid in full at the time of check out.
Vaccinations:
All dogs boarded in our facilities must meet our vaccination requirements - there are no exceptions to this rule.
A copy of vaccination records must be included at or prior to drop off. Please uploaded to the portal prior to boarding, email to corinna@creeksidekennelskc.com prior to drop off, or provided in person on day of check in.
Rabies: Initial puppy shots required.
DHLPP: Initial puppy shots required.
Bordetella: Annual and given at least 5 days prior to boarding. (Following your vets’ recommendation)
Collars and Personal Items:
Creekside Kennels is not responsible for damages to personal items. We do not accept any stuffed toys, chew toys or bedding. A fleece style blanket can be provided by you (the client) to stay with your pup during their stay, however Creekside Kennels cannot guarantee any personal items will be returned, please don’t bring items that are irreplaceable.
Please do not leave leashes at drop off, only a flat collar may be left on your dog. If you'd like us to use a Creekside Kennel collar while they are in our care please let us know at drop off.
Feeding:
If you prefer NOT to modify your dog’s current diet, you will need to provide food for the entire stay. This is recommended for the dogs that are here for short term (14 days or less) stay. Please bring ample food in a sealable container and label the food container with your dog’s name. Please be sure to tell us at check-in if your dog(s) has food allergy or any other special feeding requirements.
If you prefer your dog is fed our kennel food please let us know at drop off. Kennel food will incur additional charges.
Co-mingle - Same Household:
We may board two of your dogs together in the same kennel during high volume times. We will make note of this during check in.
Co-mingle - Separate Household:
We do not co-mingle dogs from separate households in the same boarding kennel during their stay in the kennels per PACFA regulations.
Medication:
We are happy to administer any medications your dog requires. Please make disclosure at time of drop off that your dog requires medication. Medications must be in original prescription bottle and clearly labeled with your dog’s name, veterinarian contact info, and dosage.
There is a charge to administer medication with the exception of medicated baths. We reserve the right to wash any dog that shows evidence of fleas or ticks at the owner’s expense of $30 per treatment. In these rare instances, you will be notified in advance if such treatment is required. We also reserve the right to groom your dog (long coated) if it is required for field training.
Veterinary Care Policy:
We agree to exercise our duties and take reasonable care of your pet.
In case of illness or emergency medical attention, we reserve the right to transport the animal for veterinarian attention at the dog owner’s expense including a $40 trip charge. We use Strasburg Veterinary Clinic in Strasburg, Colorado, as the primary service provider. All medical expenses are the responsibility of the dog(s) owner. Creekside Kennels and Training LLC assumes no liability for loss or damage from disease, death, escape, theft, fire, injury to person, other pets or property by your pet.
Required by the State of Colorado, please state how you would like to treat the remains in the unfortunate case of death.
Training Aid:
We provide the most ethical practice in our training approach. However, some of the equipment used in our program are known as rectification tools in animal behavior by the State of Colorado. Therefore, it is required by law to have a signed approval before we can incorporate these apparatuses into the daily training. At each training session booking, acknowledgement of the use of these tools is required.
Bird Fees:
The remaining balance is due at the time of pick up, with the bird fee paid in full at the end of each training session or at the end of a board & train program.
Board & Train Program:
$500 deposit is required to book a board & train program after an evaluation with Corinna. Forfeiture of $250 will be kept by Creekside Kennels in the case a board & train program is cancelled within 5 days of check in date.
Checkout Fees:
Late checkout fees will apply. Please see website for details on charges as these are subject to change year over year.
Cancellation Fees:
Boarding cancellations within 24 hours of boarding will result in a fee of 50% of the total price will be charged to your card on file.
